I got one of those audio greeting cards from my sister a while ago..I wanted to get at the electronics of it one day so I tore it apart and kept the PCB/speaker lying around.. I decided to rig it up to my fridge and have it say it's line, which is "need a beer?" whenever someone opened it. This is my success video. =)

For AT&T lines in the U.S. anyway, YMMV.. Dial tones are note "A" (440Hz). You can tune your instrument based on a known "A" from this source.

Why do we like music? Why do we like music?
Posted by: thedarkener

Video duration: 263 seconds

I sometimes wonder what people like about the concept of music. It's a very unique thing in that we are attracted to and sometimes hypnotized by it, from the moment of our own conception... it's almost a universal thing like symmetry or primary colors.

I didn't notice, but at one point Ryan loses his guitar strap - maybe it was karma that caught up with him, after bashing Luke for a faulty patch cord? ;)

Gas station tire pressure gauges set too high Gas station tire pressure gauges set too high
Posted by: thedarkener

Video duration: 92 seconds

I did this on all 4 of my tires before I shot this video to get proof - all 4 consistently read HIGHER tire pressure on the gas station provided pressure gauge (built into the air pump) than my stand-alone tire pressure gauge.
Comments welcome on why gas stations might benefit from their customers' tires being at a lower pressure than they believe them to be.
